- According to a survey done by Equal Justice Works, since 1993, law school debt has increased 53%. The average law student comes out with $84,4000 in debt. That sucks.

The latte article is interesting, but I don’t think there’s much of a distinction between buying them when you’re “living on borrowed money” and when you’re still paying for that borrowed money. In other words, isn’t buying one when you’re a corporate lawyer making six figures but still have outstanding loans just as foolish as buying one when you’re a student?
