Over on Get Rich Slowly, there was a post on mygrocerydeals.com. I checked out the site and am blown away by it. What the site does is that it brings up the weekly grocery fliers of stores in your area. You can limit your search of grocery fliers by product. So, if you need to buy some soda, you can have mygrocerydeals.com search for all the fliers for deals on soda.

They also have a coupon section. In order to use it, you have to download a plug-in. JD on Get Rich Slowly said you might have some problems if you’re using a Mac. There are lots of good deals, and I plan on becoming a religious user of the site. Next time Mrs. Frugal Law Student and I go grocery shopping, I’ll report how much we saved using mygrocerydeals.com.

Also, along the lines of being frugal in law school, I’m a 3rd year student. One of my big things is buy books online and don’t buy new if at all possible. I wrote a post on this awhile back: here’s the link if you’re interested.

I’ve been a big fan of your website, and read it extensively before starting law school. You’re providing a great service.

I, too, try to save money by buying my books on-line.

Speaking of Pre-Law Students, as soon as finals are over I will be publishing a series of posts on how to be a frugal Pre-Law student. I’m going to give tips on what I did to save money on applications, preparing for the LSAT, and preparing for law school in general.
