I hope everyone had a great Christmas. Mine was excellent.

As a way to make room for my new things, I’m thinking about going through my old stuff and getting rid of things I don’t use any more. Instead of just throwing it away, I plan on trying to sell it on eBay.

My wife did this last spring. We super cleaned our apartment and put together a pile of stuff we haven’t used in a long time. For example, a Sega Game Gear, a LYNX video game system, old hockey equipment, a PDA, and an old phone. I put all this stuff on eBay, sold it, and made a decent amount of money. (It’s amazing how much people will pay for a LYNX.)

Thus, selling stuff on eBay has two benefits. You can reduce the clutter in your life and you can make some money. Very nice.

Do you guys have a seller account, or did you use an ebay seller (I know mailboxes etc. used to sell your ebay stuff for you and take a percentage)

For school I’m still not sure where I’ll end up. If I can get into the Y I’ll probably go there just because it is so much cheaper than other schools around that same level.
I’m also looking at staying in Norman and going to OU.

For fourth tier schools right now I’m looking at Cooley. It’s really close to my parents and I should be able to get a full ride.
