I’m in the process of reviewing both OmniOutliner and the newly-released OmniFocus as they apply to both law students and people interested in Getting Things Done (GTD).
Until then, let’s talk about your particular law school or other software setup that you couldn’t live without. Also, if there’s a program out there you’ve been dying to seen reviewed, let me know (if it runs on Mac) and we’ll try to put together a review for that as well.

What i cant live without is freelance computer jobs and internet. I just dont know why. Maybe I’m just too workaholic
I use a wiki (in my case, MediaWiki) for my to-do lists. It’s my home page, and it’s invaluable for quick and dirty task tracking.
Another great app for law school is Skim. It allows you to view and edit PDFs. So if I don’t have the opportunity or desire to print out a case, I use the highlight feature and jot notes directly onto the PDF. The search feature is also quite nice.
Searchlight is great for searching folders of class notes and cases when you’re studying or writing papers.

Paulette I agree with you 100%. It’s also nice to make decent money, and work on your own time frame.
